About the Speaker Lisa Waldron - Dietitian
Lisa Waldron holds a master’s degree in Dietetics, a Post Graduate Certificate in Eating Disorders and completed further training in intuitive eating and health coaching. She worked in Specialist Eating disorder services for over 6 years and has experience in the NHS and private practice. She has contributed to national guidance on eating disorders and teaches on a BDA courses and holds the role of deputy chair for the Mental Health Specialist Group of the BDA.
Lisa has experience in using AI in policy development, brainstorming as well as image generation with her role. She has explored how AI can be helpful in our practice as nutrition professionals and led on workshop to review how AI tools can be used within the workplace to allow teams to be more efficient with their time.
Lisa brings her passion for nutrition and exercise to all aspects of her work and focuses on supporting individuals to develop a positive relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. She uses a holistic approach and considers the wider factors influencing health and wellbeing in her work. She shares information on @lisawaldronrd where she explores evidence-based nutrition and building positive relationships with food.
