About our Speaker: Rhian Houghton

Rhian is a registered Dietitian (HCPC) who has over 12 years of experience working in the NHS and private practise, including working at The London Centre for Intuitive Eating. Her clinical experience spans across various specialities including heart health, diabetes, PCOS, bariatrics and disordered eating and eating disorders.

Rhian currently works in both the NHS and private practice supporting adults to develop a healthy relationship with food and their bodies. She aims to support clients to move away from yoyo dieting, disordered eating and feelings of confusion around food and nutrition. Her work with people is always collaborative, helping them to create behaviour change for health that supports their values and most importantly feels good.

Her current NHS practice is within the Imperial Weight Centre at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. She supports people both pre and post-surgery with a big focus of her work being around helping people develop a deeper awareness of their eating patterns and behaviours, their relationship with food and exploring emotional and disordered eating.

She has received further training in nutritional counselling for eating disorders, intuitive eating, and motivational interviewing to help support clients in their recovery journey from disordered eating.
